Vishay VSMB3940 Series IR Emitting Diodes
The VSMB3940 series, Vishay Semiconductors, are high speed Infrared (IR) emitting diodes. They have a surface mount (SMT) PLCC-2 package which uses double hetero (DH) technology. The VSMB3940 is ideal for applications such as IrDA compatible data transmission, miniature light barriers, photointerrupters, optical switch, shaft encoders and control and drive circuits.
