Evaluation Module for TGS8100 Air Quality Sensor
A PCB module from Figaro which allows evaluation of the on-board TGS8100 air quality sensor. Operation is simplified by using a continuous output signal generated by the module. Although the TGS8100 operating mode uses intermittent detection via a 1-second cycle, the periodic sensor output is converted into a continuous voltage signal by the module's microprocessor. The TGS8100 sensor is mounted on a replaceable daughter-board and is sensitive to most common air contaminant gases. The module requires a regulated supply of 5Vdc and produces an output of 0-3V.
PCB Mounted Gas Sensors
Operating conditions in which Sensors are used will vary with each customer's application. Gas and oxygen sensors are not authorised for use as critical components in life support applications wherein a failure or malfunction of the products may result in injury or threat to life. Non-calibrated PCB gas sensors will not operate properly if not calibrated prior to usage.
