Product details
Eaton Push Button Control Station - M22 Series
Forming part of Eaton's RMQ Titan range of push buttons and control stations, the M22 control station complete unit provides a solution for control circuit devices within a multitude of applications, but more specifically machines and panel building. These control stations are a complete unit including enclosure and push button actuator.
Typical Applications
Designed for electrical automation and control environments, control station switches are commonly found in push button stations where users may be next to a machine or sitting at a control desk, within suspended operator panels or in a control panel. Suitable for a wide range of stop-start and electrical safety applications including factory conveyor belts, escalators and control panels.
Features and Benefits
Snap fitting modular range of 22.5mm control devices
Up to six clip-together contact elements per actuator
Stayput actuators convert with a simple adaptor to spring return
Flush, surface or rear mounted
Mechanical lifespan of up to 100,000 operations
Operating temperature of -25 to +70°C
IP rating explanation
IP69K (rated as complete assurance provides the highest protection rating on the scale)
IP67 (rated as "dust tight" and protected against immersion)
What is the difference between a push button station for emergency stop and a general-purpose control station?
A general-purpose push button switch is used for controls, e.g., starting machine operation or simply to switch modes. However, a push button switch for emergency stop is mainly used as a safety measure to stop hazardous events.
