Straight D-sub connectors for printed circuits.
Mounting system using cylindrical harpoons with threaded spacers, also used as earthing point for cards of 1.6 → 3.2 mm thickness.
Better hold on the printed circuit; can be used with cards of varying thicknesses (harpoon does not come through at the back).
Tin-coated metal enclosures (with earth blades on male connectors).
Rolled cut-out contacts, with selective gold plating.
