Weidmuller IDC Ribbon Cable Tester

For quick and reliable wiring configuration this compact microprocessor tester checks cables with the most popular sized IDC connectors.

Ranging from 10 way up to 64 way, this versatile cable tester assists the user in correctly made ribbon cable verification and testing. Rapid comparison tests can also be carried out with a "good" custom made cable. Powered by 4 AAA batteries (alkaline or zinc chloride, not included) underneath a compartment sealed with 2 countersunk screws. (Posidrive) A powerdown feature prolongs battery life, whilst a test button allows a user to continue.
Accepts most centre polarised and unpolarised IDC sockets, with any combination of 10, 14, 16, 20, 26, 34, 40, 50, 60 or 64 way housings, terminated at either end of the ribbon cable.
