PSWZX1P Safety Relay by PILZ
The PSWZX1P range of safety relays from PILZ offers you safety and performance all in one. The PSWZX1P offers you different modes of operation such as single or dual channel switches. Suitable specifically for operating your safe standstill machinery or tools that are deemed dangerous or hazardous to health.
Features and benefits:
DIN rail mounted with screw terminals
LED display that offers you the following measures:
- Supply voltages
- Standstill on Channel 1 / 2
- Switch status
- Fault signal if simultaneity time is exceeded
Semiconductor output signal (input for reset function):
- Error
- Switch status
Measure inputs for single or three-phase motors
Measuring voltage is selectable
Feedback loop is in operation
Plug in connection terminals is possible
Safety features:
Relays K1 & K2 are interlocked specifically designed so that the unit cannot be switched back on in the case of contact welding or an open circuit (ensuring your safety at all times)
The unit will monitor and measure and look out for an open circuit. If the circuit does open, the unit will immediately switch itself off to prevent hazards
The standstill motor which is unique to the PSWZ X1P prevents the plant from being enabled, in the following cases:
- Power supply failure
- Component failure
- Measuring circuits are open circuit
- Coil deflect / open circuit
Applications:
Safe standstill monitoring – this is the units main purpose and is specifically designed for safe standstill where areas of operation such as plants have dangerous machinery or tools in use. Safe standstill monitoring is only detected on power free measuring circuits. Any residual voltages, induced voltages or drives with in the position control will prevent the relay from its main function so take this into consideration when in use
