This insulated, modular terminal strip from the RS PRO range has 12 contacts arranged in two parallel rows. It's used to create wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connections, without having to use plugs.
With a clamping component that fits a wide range of wire sizes and a conducting brass strip, it gives you reliable connections. Make connections and disconnections quickly – just push the wire against the block's conductor strip using a screwdriver. The polypropylene cover on the terminal strip gives good resistance to heat, chemicals and fatigue.
You can use this terminal strip from RS PRO in any electrical situation where wires must be joined. Creating a fixed connection, this unit is easily accessible for troubleshooting and, if you have a few wires to connect, connections can be conveniently organised into a logical arrangement.
