Stanley Light Duty Corner Clamp

The 0-83-121 is a light duty corner clamp from Stanley. This clamp has a clamping capacity of 75mm and 15mm depth. These types of clamps have been designed for clamping objects at a certain angle and used for clamping corners or creating mitre joints. These clamps are also known as angle clamps and can be used to hold workpieces such as wood, metal and plastic of varying thickness, whilst creating straight joints.

Corner clamps allow two workpieces to be held at a 90 degree angle, in order to be attached together. The two items can be of different widths and the clamp will still hold the two at 90 degree angle. This clamp has two screws which control the movement of the jaws separately which means the user can adjust one jaw at a time.

Features and Benefits:

Independently adjustable jaws can hold material of equal or varying thickness at right angles
Mounting holes allow clamp to be securely attached to work surface
Cast-aluminium construction for long lasting durability

Typical Applications:

Clamps (also known as a cramp) are tools designed to hold and secure two objects tightly together and to prevent unwanted movement while e.g. clamping/glueing, holding work for sawing/drilling and positioning work for fastening.

Clamps are widely used by:

• Carpenters
• Mechanics
• Plumbers
• Electricians
• Constructors
• Builders
• Architects

FAQs:

Are Corner Clamps good for woodworking?

Yes, corner clamps are great for creating joints in woodworking. This type of clamp can be used to help create various joints such as mitre joints, butt joints and T-joints. Projects can include picture framing and shelving units.
