A scale inhibitor is a chemical or mechanical treatment that is injected or in fluid flow systems to prevent the precipitation and aggregation of slightly insoluble compound formation on the walls of the systems.
Why use a scale inhibitor?
Scale inhibitors are used to slow down and/or prevent scaling in water systems by improving the flow rate.
